Provost of the College of Education presenting the camera to the Director of the Public Affairs Directorate
The College of Education has generously donated a brand-new Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera, complete with a Canon EF 24-105MM F/4L IS USM Lens, to the Public Affairs Directorate (PAD) in appreciation of the Directorate’s efforts in highlighting the University as well as the College's research and activities.
Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe, Provost, College of Education
During the presentation, Provost of the College, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe underscored the critical role PAD plays in the College’s daily operations. He noted that the camera will significantly enhance the documentation of events and pledged continued support, including plans to donate laptops to support the VC’s ‘1 Student, 1 Laptop’ Initiative.
Dr. Elizier Ameyaw-Buronyah, Director, Public Affairs Directorate
Receiving the camera, Dr. Elizier Ameyaw-Buronyah, Director of Public Affairs, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the College. She highlighted that this is the first time the Directorate will have its own camera, which will not only boost its work but also reduce costs associated with hiring commercial photographers.
The brief ceremony was also attended by Mr. Joseph Oduro Nkansah, College Registrar; Mrs. Regina Afari Boateng, School Administrator, School of Continuing and Distance Education; Mr. Moses Musah Bawa and Ms Matilda Appiah, College Academic Affairs Officers; Ms Pascaline Songsore, Senior Assistant Registrar in charge of Documentation at the Public Affairs Directorate; Ms Mavis Osafo-Adu, Assistant Registrar in charge of Protocol; Ms Victoria A. Anim, Public Affairs Officer for the College of Basic and Applied Sciences; Ms Agnes Baidoo, Public Affairs Officer for the College of Education; Ms Delali Acolatse, Assistant Registrar in charge of Media Relations at the Public Affairs Directorate and Mr. Prince Boateng Blay, Senior Administrative Assistant, Office of the Provost. Additionally, other reporters and photographers from the Public Affairs Directorate were present.
