He affirmed the University’s commitment to ensuring that every University of Ghana student, regardless of location, receives a high-quality education. He also announced that graduate programmes in Educational Technology and Human Resource Development would commence in the upcoming academic year as part of the Distance Education programme.

Solidarity messages were delivered by representatives from the Tema Development Corporation, Tema Metropolitan Assembly and Tema Metropolitan Education Directorate, who commended the initiative and its benefit to inhabitants of Tema and beyond.
