Provost Visits Tema Learning Centre

The Provost of the College of Education, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe and a team from the College Secretariat on Wednesday, 25th January, 2023 paid a working visit to the Tema Learning Centre to familiarise themselves with the operations of the Centre.

The 74th Annual New Year School and Conference opened which focused on AfCFTA opened on a high note

This year’s Annual New Year School and Conference (ANYSC) was the 74th in series. It was under the theme, “Positioning the African Market for Sustainable Economic Development through the AfCFTA.” Participants had the opportunity to learn and discuss what the African Continental and Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) was all about and the opportunities available to them and the continent as a whole.

Provost Pays a Working Visit To The Tamale Learning Centre

On 9th January, 2023, a team from the College of Education led by the Provost, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe, and accompanied by Ms. Dorinda Nbinmah Yeboah (Assistant Registrar) and Mr. Prince Blay Boateng (Administrative Assistant) paid a working visit to the Tamale Learning Centre in the Northern Region. The visit provided an opportunity for the Provost to interact with the staff, familiarise himself with the operations at the Learning Centre and identify ways by which services at the Learning Centre could be improved as well as explore alternatives for increased revenue generation.

Provost Promotes 75th Anniversary of the University

The Provost, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe led management of the College of Education and the Annual New Year School and Conference Secretariat have promoted activities of the 75th Anniversary of the University of Ghana and that of the 74th New Year School and Conference. It will be recalled that on the 29th November 2022, the Provost chaired the launch of the 74th Annual New Year School and Conference at the Smart classroom of the School of Continuing and Distance Education.

Provost Holds Dinner for National Service Personnel

On 10th December, 2022, the Provost of the College of Education, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe hosted a dinner for outgoing National Service Personnel who served at the Office of the Provost, College of Education during the 2021/2022 academic year.

74th Annual New Year School and Conference Launched

On 29th November 2022, the School of Continuing and Distance Education, College of Education launched the 74thedition of the Annual New Year School and Conference (ANYSC) on the theme “Positioning the African Market for Sustainable Economic Development through AfCFTA” at a very colourful ceremony held at its Smart Classroom.

Provost fetes Distance Education Sports Personalities

On 25th November, 2022, the Provost of the College of Education, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe hosted a luncheon in honour of the achievement of the sports men and women of the Department of Distance Education who participated in the 2022 University of Ghana Inter-Hall Athletics Games. The event came off following a presentation of trophies won at the Games to the Provost.

Provost calls on Stakeholder Departments of the Distance Education Programme

Professor Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe has called on stakeholder departments of the Distance Education Programme to continuously engage and dialogue to enhance students' learning experience as well as to spell out its shortfalls.

ORID holds Ethics Sensitization Worksop for Faculty of College of Education

The Office of Research, Innovation, and Development (ORID) has organized a sensitization workshop for faculty of the College of Education on Wednesday, 28th September 2022. The workshop was held at the SCDE Smart Classroom.

The Provost of the College of Education, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe has interacted with members of the Implementation Team for the Kumasi and Takoradi City Campuses to familiarize himself with activities and initiatives geared towards the establishment of the new Campuses.
