The Acting Provost of the College of Education, Prof. Martin Oteng-Ababio and a team from the College paid a working visit to the Peki College of Education as part of efforts to strengthen collaborative ties between the two institutions.
The visit to the College provided an opportunity for the College team to familiarize themselves with activities of the Peki College of Education which is affiliated to the University of Ghana.

In his welcome address, the Principal of the Peki College of Education, Dr. Ebenezer Bonney thanked Prof. Martin Oteng-Ababio and his team for the visit to his outfit. He appreciated the efforts being made by the team to seek firsthand information on the activities of the College and hoped that interactions with the team, staff and students would encourage them to put their best foot forward.

In his submission, Prof. Martin Oteng-Ababio, thanked the management and staff of the Peki College for the warm reception. He stated that the relationship between the two educational institutions should be mutually beneficial. He indicated that the University of Ghana was interested in building the personal and professional development of students and staff in the Peki College. He encouraged staff to collaborate with one another to engage in research and publish widely in high-impact journals.

During the visit, the College team interacted with staff and students of the Peki College who expressed the need to have access to some resources of the University of Ghana to aid in teaching and learning. They also highlighted pertinent issues that centred on examinations, the grading system and promotion of staff in the College.
The College team included Dr. Emmanuel Adjei-Boateng, Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of the B.Ed Programme and Mr. Philip Donkor Atsu, Financial Accountant at the College of Education.
