College of Education Holds Luncheon for its Administrators

The College of Education held a luncheon for its outgoing and incoming administrators at the University of Ghana Guest Centre. The gathering provided the opportunity for the college management to bid the outgoing administrators farewell as they take on new roles in the University and for them to share experiences with their incoming colleagues.

Speaking at the ceremony, the former college human resource officer, Mrs. Beatrice Clottey who spoke on behalf of the outgoing administrators indicated that working at the College had enabled them to garner a lot of knowledge and experiences that have transformed them to become better in their line of duty. Although she admitted that these experiences come with their ups and downs, she recognized their immerse contribution in shaping their lives.

She further urged the new administrators to be accommodating but in the performance of their respective roles.
Speaking on behalf of the incoming administrators, Mr. Moses Bawa, Assistant Registrar at the college academic office thanked the Acting Provost for the opportunity and indicated that they were looking forward to having a cordial working relationship with faculty and staff in the College. Mr. Bawa also pledged that they would work hard and do their best during their stay in the College. He prayed for God’s protection, strength and wisdom of to enable them to discharge their duties efficiently.

On his part, the Acting Provost of the College, Professor Martin Oteng-Ababio used the opportunity to thank the outgoing administrators for their dedicated service to the College. He further admonished the incoming administrators to contribute their quota for the forward march of the college. Professor Oteng -Ababio disclosed that he operates an open-door policy and encouraged them to take advantage to ensure a healthy working relationship.

Present at the luncheon were the Acting Provost, Professor Martin Oteng- Ababio; Acting College Secretary, Mr. Joseph Oduro Nkansah; College Academic Officer, Mrs. Cynthia Adu and the outgoing administrators: Mr. Eric Acheampong, Mrs. Essie Budu Ayensah, Mrs. Elizier Ameyaw-Buronyah and Mrs. Beatrice Soyoo Dede Clottey.

Also present were the incoming administrators: Ms. Angela Otaah Anokye, Mrs. Regina Afari-Boateng, Mrs. Rodarling Neequaye, Mrs. Joycelyn Boateng, Ms. Dorinda Yeboah and Mr. Moses Bawa.
