College of Education Prepares for Rebranded Website Launch with a 3-Day Content Upload Exercise

As the University of Ghana gears up to unveil its newly redesigned website, alongside the websites of its four Colleges, the College of Education has taken a proactive step to ensure an interactive online presence. School and Departmental liaisons recently participated in a focused three-day website contents upload exercise, with the goal of keeping their respective websites vibrant and up-to-date.

The exercise saw enthusiastic participation from liaisons from all the Schools and Departments in the College. During a surprise visit by the Provost, he expressed his satisfaction with the exercise and emphasised the importance of the College of Education standing out on the day of the rebranded website launch and beyond. He also commended the liaisons for their efforts towards the rebranding of the websites.

The Provost stressed the need for timely reporting of events, continuous updates, and vigilant monitoring of Schools and departments websites. He urged the liaisons to enhance the visibility of their respective Units and maintain interactive web content, underscoring its impact on webometrics. Encouraging the liaisons to persist in their dedication, he shared his daily visits to the College's website and the importance of fresh, engaging content.

In response, the Chairman of the College of Education Marketing Communication and Image Enhancement Team (COEMCIET) expressed appreciation for the Provost's inspiring visit. He affirmed that COEMIT, together with the liaisons and the Public Affairs Officer, will diligently strive to enhance the visibility of the College and maintain an interactive and informative online presence.
