Welcome to the College of Education of the University of Ghana which is one of the four colleges established by the University. The College is committed to providing unrestricted access to high quality tertiary education through excellence in teaching, learning, research and scholarship at international standards. The College also seeks to improve the understanding, practice and management of Information and Communication. The College is made up of three schools: School of Continuing and Distance Education, School of Education and Leadership and School of Information and Communication Studies. It is home to the Kumasi and Takoradi City Campuses of the University as well as the University of Ghana Learning Centres located at Accra, Bolgatanga, Cape Coast, Koforidua, Sunyani, Tamale, Tema, Tsito, and Wa. The College also supervises and mentors the six colleges of education affiliated to the University of Ghana, namely, Mount Mary, Accra, Enchi, Peki, Gbewaa and Evangelical Presbyterian (Amedzofe) Colleges of Education. Two units key to the University which are located in the College of Education are the University of Ghana Printing Press and Radio Univers.
