Provost Interacts with 2022/2023 National Service Personnel (NSP)

The Provost, Professor Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe has interacted with the 2022/2023 National Service Personnel (NSP) of the College of Education (COE) as part of a roadshow to familiarise himself with all members of the College.

Provost Pays a Working Visit to the Takoradi City Campus

A team from the College of Education led by the Provost, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe, and accompanied by Prof. Charity Akotia (Chairperson, City Campus Implementation Committee), Ms. Dorinda Nbinmah Yeboah (Assistant Registrar), Mr. Prince Blay Boateng (Administrative Assistant) and Mr. Gabriel Pereira (National Service Person) paid a working visit to the Takoradi City Campus (TCC) in Western Region on February 15, 2023.

In October 2019, the 46 Colleges of Education in collaboration with the five Public Universities rolled-out the new B. Ed. Programme with approval from the National Accreditation Board in July, 2018.

Dr. Simon-Peter Kafui Aheto Appointed International Programmes Coordinator for College of Education

Dr. Simon-Peter Kafui Aheto, a Senior Lecturer of   Information Technology and Education at the Department of Distance Education, School of Continuing and Distance Education, College of Education has been appointed as the first College International Programmes Coordinator (CIPC) of the College of Education by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo. Dr. Aheto has been appointed to serve on this position for a three-year term.

Provost Pays a 2 Day Working Visit to the Peki College of Education, E.P. College of Education and the Ho/Tsito Learning Centre

On 1st February, 2023, a team from the College of Education led by the Provost, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe, and accompanied by Ms. Dorinda Nbinmah Yeboah, Assistant Registrar, Mr. Prince Blay Boateng, Administrative Assistant and Mr. Frank Hope Tachie, National Service Person paid a 2-day working visit to the Peki College of Education, the E. P. College of Education and the Ho/Tsito Learning Centre in the Volta Region.

Provost Visits Tema Learning Centre

The Provost of the College of Education, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe and a team from the College Secretariat on Wednesday, 25th January, 2023 paid a working visit to the Tema Learning Centre to familiarise themselves with the operations of the Centre.

The 74th Annual New Year School and Conference opened which focused on AfCFTA opened on a high note

This year’s Annual New Year School and Conference (ANYSC) was the 74th in series. It was under the theme, “Positioning the African Market for Sustainable Economic Development through the AfCFTA.” Participants had the opportunity to learn and discuss what the African Continental and Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) was all about and the opportunities available to them and the continent as a whole.

Provost Pays a Working Visit To The Tamale Learning Centre

On 9th January, 2023, a team from the College of Education led by the Provost, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe, and accompanied by Ms. Dorinda Nbinmah Yeboah (Assistant Registrar) and Mr. Prince Blay Boateng (Administrative Assistant) paid a working visit to the Tamale Learning Centre in the Northern Region. The visit provided an opportunity for the Provost to interact with the staff, familiarise himself with the operations at the Learning Centre and identify ways by which services at the Learning Centre could be improved as well as explore alternatives for increased revenue generation.

Provost Promotes 75th Anniversary of the University

The Provost, Prof. Samuel Nii Ardey Codjoe led management of the College of Education and the Annual New Year School and Conference Secretariat have promoted activities of the 75th Anniversary of the University of Ghana and that of the 74th New Year School and Conference. It will be recalled that on the 29th November 2022, the Provost chaired the launch of the 74th Annual New Year School and Conference at the Smart classroom of the School of Continuing and Distance Education.
