Mr. Michael Leslie Bartlett-Vanderpuye, an alumnus of the University of Ghana and an Advisory Board Member for the College of Education, was recently honoured for his outstanding achievements at the 7th Ghana Business Awards held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra. As Chairman of M&C Group (Global), Mr. Bartlett-Vanderpuye led his company to secure the esteemed “Trading Company of the Year” award.
This prestigious ceremony, attended by some of Ghana’s most influential industry leaders, recognised M&C Group’s vital contributions to Ghana’s economy through strategic commodity trading. The company has built a strong reputation in international trade, sustainability, and enhancing Ghana’s profile on the global stage.

Earlier this year, he was celebrated as “CEO of the Year” at the 100 Most Notable Africans Business and Leadership Summit in Kigali, Rwanda, where he was recognised for transforming M&C Group (Global) into a leader in commodity trading.
